Your House, My House

The exhibit explores the many varieties of home designs around the world and how home construction is influenced by geography, climate, availability of materials, lifestyle and other factors.

See three example model homes from around the world: a Mongolian herder's ger, a m'bure from the tropics of Fiji and a stilt house from a Malaysian fishing village.  Children can also use tools at the exhibit to design their own house using a computer program.

This exhibit will be open January 8, 2011 through April 17, 2011.
