G-Braves' Manager Brundage Headed to Pennsylvania

The Gwinnett Braves announced Brundage accepted the top position for the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.

He had been the man in charge on the field at Coolray since the Gwinnett Braves moved to Lawrenceville four years ago. Now Dave Brundage his headed north to Pennsylvania to lead the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.

The G-Braves made the announcement in a short press release Thursday afternoon. Here is their statement in it's entirety: "Gwinnett Braves manager Dave Brundage has accepted the manager position with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The Braves wish Brundage the best in his new endeavor."

Heading in to his 16th season as a minor league manager, the 48 year old Brundage finished the season with the G-Braves with a 62-82 record.
