ReplyIf school / tax payer sponsored, should be integrated if that’s what the majority wants. If private funded, they should be able to do whatever they want..

ReplyThink of the word, “Illegal” as “undocumented”.. Same as if you have an “undocumented” source of income unto the IRS – then you too are now “illegal”.. They’re said to be illegal because they’re undocumented.
Indians?? With all due respect, does the train of thought really end there? You know, I’d bet immigration was also a debate with Indian leaders as the Europeans were coming over – and they also had Chiefs that said, in their language of course, “How can people be illegal” & “immigration isn’t a crime”.. Look what happened. Research “Trail of tears”.. The Native American population was decimated in a very short time along with they’re goods and even way of life.

Well said, Nan.
Fact is people have cultural differences; especially in dealing with music and dance – and its okay. We all have to work at respecting each other’s differences – whether you’ll publically opinionate it or not. I remind myself often to try hard to respect everyone with the upmost – because one day we’ll worship one God together – side by side.
