Renée Hicks, Neighbor

Renée Hicks is a marketing specialist for the Path2College 529 Plan, the college savings for the state of Georgia and is starting her own photography business, Lemon Chic Photography.  Renée holds a degree in Communication Studies from the College of Charleston, for whom she played softball during her schooling and helped the Cougars claim the 2006 Southern Conference championship.

Renée, who is originally from Toronto, Canada, has a passion for traveling the world. She has always had a passion for writing and for photography and likes to document her travels to various American cities and countries that she visits. She spends her free time playing sports, blogging, taking photographs and spending time with her husband. 

Renée  has lived in Lawrenceville for 14 years and is a graduate of Berkmar High School. During her four years at Berkmar, Renée played on the softball team, girls' basketball team, and even the boys' baseball team during her freshman year.

Along with discovering the arts and exploring Atlanta, Renée loves to watch reality television and especially loves watching the new television series GLEE. Renée also loves to watch movies and has a dvd collection of 300+ movies. Some of her favorite movies include Coach Carter, The Devil Wears Prada, The Color Purple, Avatar, Salt, Grease and Soul Food.
