Rockin' Good TIme

The Red Clay Theatre in Duluth has a special show for kids Tuesday.

Red Clay Theatre in Duluth presents Wendy Bennett as she sings special kid-friendly songs including "I've Gotta Crow", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", "The Laughing Song" and more. Tickets are $5. The show starts at 11am. Red Clay Theatre is located at 3116 Main St, Duluth, GA.

Solve a Crime

Take the kids to see the newest exhibit at the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center in Buford, Ga.

It's a case of "who done it!" The kids can get a chance to solve a mystery at the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center in Buford, Ga. Check out the museum's traveling exhibit "Crime Lab." Kids will search for clues, examine fingerprints and even use DNA to help solve the crime. The exhibit is open now through October 15th. While you're at the GEHC, don't forget to check out the museum's regular exhibits including Water Wise, Discover H2O and Blue Planet. And take a walk down one of their beautiful trails. The museum is open Monday through Saturday 9am until 4pm. Admission for Gwinnett County residents is $7.50 for adults, $5.50 for students 13-22 with ID as well as seniors and $3.50 for kids 3-12. U-Pick Your Own Fun

Take the kids to a "berry" special place in Lawrenceville, Ga.

It's expected to be a little cooler Tuesday, so why not take your little one to DJ's U-Pick Blueberry Farm in Lawrenceville?  For just $10 a gallon, you and your family can pick berries to your heart's content. Then take home the fruit to make blueberry jam, muffins, smoothies and more. Pack a picnic and enjoy lunch on the farm. Then once you've fed yourself, you can feed the goats. You can bring any leftover bread, fruits or vegetables to feed to the farm animals. DJ's U-Pick Blueberry Farm is located at 1839 Prospect Road in Lawrenceville.

Dollar Theatre

Regal Cinemas in Buford, Snellville and Duluth are showing special movies for only one buck.

  Who says a dollar can't buy you anything these days?  This summer, for just one buck you can get a ticket to Regal Cinemas' Summer Movie Express. Every Tuesday and Wedneday at 10am, Regal Cinemas will show a family friendly film for just one dollar. Locations in Duluth, Buford and Snellville are participating in the discounted program. Bounce Off the Walls

Take the kids to Sky Zone in Suwanee where they can jump on the floors and walls too.

  We're still early into summer vacation, but are the kids bouncing off the walls? Then take them somewhere where they can bounce off the walls... Literally! At Sky Zone in Suwanee, the entire floor and walls are made up of trampolines. Kids can just jump around or play high flying games like 3-D Dodgeball and dunk like their favorite basketball star in SkySlam. A 30 minute jump session is $9. One hour will cost you $13. You can buy longer sessions as well. Sky Zone is open 10am to 10pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 7pm Sundays.

Summer Fun

Fairytale Comes to Life

Take the kids to see Sleeping Beauty at the New Dawn Theatre today.

  You've read the story to your little ones, and they may have seen Disney's version of it. Now the classic fairytale "Sleeping Beauty" comes to life at the New Dawn Theatre in Duluth.  Tickets are $15. The show is at 8pm. If you can't make it to tonight's performance, the play runs through the 16th.

Kids can enjoy a puppet and magic show for free in Lawrenceville, Ga.

The Collins Hill Branch Library is kicking off their summer reading program today with a special treat. Magician Keith and his bird buddy Vern will make an appearance. Vern is a talking, singing bird (who gets a little help from Keith). The free event begins at 6:30pm.

Monster Mash

Teens can create monsters and other mythical creatures at the library today.

  Here's something for kids in grades six through 12 today. The Collins Hill Branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library will host "Draw Creatures of the Night." Starting at 5pm, teens can learn how to draw monsters, zombies, ghouls and more. This event is free.

Learn a Japanese Art Form

Take the teens to learn all about origami.

Take the teens to the Five Forks Library this afternoon where they can learn all about origami. This ancient Japanese art form takes pieces of paper and transforms them into magnificent sculptures. This free event starts at 1pm.
