RaceTrac Severs Ties with Lawrenceville Food Manufacturer Related to Recall
A spokesman for RaceTrac says the possibly contaminated food never made it to their stores.
On Saturday, Flying Food Group voluntarily recalled a number of their products. Shortly after our publication of the story, Patch received the following statement from a spokesman from RaceTrac, which carried Flying Food Groups items prior to the recall: “RaceTrac considers the safety of our guests and in-store team members to be extremely important. We preemptively removed all products prepared and provided by Flying Food Group from our 65 Georgia stores on November 26 after our independent testing revealed a potential food safety issue at the supplier’s Lawrenceville facility.
