Deputy Sheriff Senior

Gwinnett County is hiring for this full-time position.

The Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department is currently hiring for a Deputy Sheriff Senior. The person in this position will be a fully certified Peace Officer. They will be responsible for performing duties in an assigned division of the department including court services, civil process, administration, support services and field detention. A High School Diploma or GED is required. However there is a 3% pay incentive for officers with an Associate’s degree and a 6% pay incentive for officers with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.   Applicants must have at least one year of prior law enforcement experience.

Halloween is supposed to be a fun time, but it should also be a safe time.  Before going out trick or treating, check the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department's Sex Offender registry. We searched and found 172 registered sex offenders who list Lawrenceville as their place of residence. You can enter your address, or the address where your kids will be trick-or-treating, and find out if there are any sex offenders on your route.
