Make Mahjong Yours!

Ring in the New Year with this adorable purebred pug up for adoption in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Here's Mahjong! Look at that happy face! This adorable little purebred Pug was rescued from Animal Control just in the nick of time. He was an owner surrender, and we cannot imagine why anyone would want to give him up. He was born on 6/13/09, which makes him about three and a half years old. His foster mom reports that he is a happy and very social boy who loves and really needs to be near his people. He just wants to be your best buddy! Mahjong is great with other dogs, and does fine with children. He is crate trained (although he'd rather not be crated), and should be pretty easy to housetrain, given a little effort and a regular schedule of potty breaks. This affectionate fellow will make a wonderful pet for some lucky person or family…

PugFest 2012 Comes To The Gwinnett Fairgrounds

PugFest is the annual fundraiser held by Southeastern Pug Rescue & Adoption (SEPRA)

Each year, on the last weekend in October, the exhibit hall at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds is filled with the sounds of snorts, the sights of waging curly tails, and Pugs in costumes. Crowds (yes crowds!) travel from far & wide to join in the fun & games. But it's not just fun & games. The hall is filled with precious Pugs looking for a forever home. SEPRA takes in Pugs & Pug mixes from all over the country. Some have critical medical needs. Diabetes, arthritis, & eye problems are just a few issue that plague the breed. With love & compassion, foster parents open their hearts & their homes to care for these precious dogs' needs. Once healty & rehabbed enough they go on the website for adoption.
