'The Nutcracker' Holiday Magic Returns to Gwinnett
Lawrenceville based Gwinnett Ballet Theatre three-week run of traditional ballet opens at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center in Duluth.
Gwinnett Ballet Theatre will launch its 31st annual production of “The Nutcracker” Friday, Nov. 30, at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center in Duluth. GBT’s production, the second largest in the Atlanta metro area, offers 11 public performances and five outreach shows. The first public performance will be Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2:30 p.m. Shows will continue through Sunday, Dec. 16. The performances will be accompanied by the professional 35 musicians of the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre Orchestra for the last eight shows from Dec. 7 onward.
