$3 Million for Man Who Died in 3-Way
The family of Lawrenceville, Ga., resident William Martinez, 31, has won a malpractice suit because his doctor didn't warn him to avoid sex.
In March 2009, 31-year-old William Martinez of Lawrenceville went to the doctor complaining of chest pains. Martinez, who had a history of high blood pressure and a risk of clogged arteries, was scheduled for a stress test eight days later. Seven days later, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports, Martinez died while engaged in three-way sex with a friend and a woman who wasn't his wife. And on May 29, 2012, a Gwinnett County jury awarded $3 million to survivors of Martinez, who was married with two children. The jury agreed with the family's lawyers that Martinez' doctor should have warned him to knock off physical activity until his stress test. This man who died from a sex act is 100% responsible for his death,not the doctor. Common sense tells you if you are in danger of a heartattack not to have sex.Maybe he didnt have any common sense!!!This kind of (blaming others) only makes everyones medicine and Doctor bills cost more.I feel for his wife and children ,but this is in no way someone elses fault!!!   more ›
