Former Black Knight Basketball Player Dies at Age 19

Jerry Coleman reportedly had his wisdom teeth removed just days before his death.

A Central Gwinnett basketball standout has died at the age of 19. The Gwinnett Daily Post reports Jerry Coleman was found dead Monday morning. The paper reports his family found him after he reportedly passed in his sleep. According to The GDP, Coleman's coach at Central Gwinnett said Coleman underwent a routine procedure to have his wisdom teeth removed on Friday and complained of some discomfort, but appeared to be fine Sunday night when he went to bed. Coleman was a student at Kennesaw State University. The GDP says he was considering trying out for the school's basketball team as a walk-on. After reading several articles about this young man, it is evident that he has left a beautiful legacy that not only ministers to other young athletes but to adults alike.
