Police Seek Public’s Help in Search of Robbery Suspect Who Stole $20,000 Atlanta Police Investigators have released a photo of a key suspect in an armed robbery that netted $20,000. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible. According to APD officers, "on 02/13/2013 at 12:20 PM, two suspects robbed the victim at gunpoint at 1960 Perkerson Road SW." The department has said that the victim works for some sort of ATM delivery service and "picks-up and delivers money for ATM machines." Lawrenceville Man Accused of Pointing Gun at Police

He told the investigators, who were not in uniform, that he thought they were trying to breaking into a home in his neighborhood.

An elderly Lawrenceville man is being accused of pointing a gun at police investigators not in uniform. James McIntyre, 68, was arrested and charged with pointing a pistol at another, according to the Gwinnett County Police report. The incident occurred on the 2000 block of Wisteria Court in Lawrenceville. In plain clothes, three police investigators wanted to speak with a resident, but the person wasn't home. As the investigators left, they noticed a red laser being pointed inside the car, one of them wrote in the report. It was coming from the top of the road near a stop sign, so they drove over there and saw two men, one of them being McIntyre, standing in a nearby yard. Public's Help Needed in Two Gwinnett Burglary Investigations

Gwinnett County Police are looking for suspects in two unrelated burglaries, one of which took place in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Ga. and the other in unincorporated Norcross.

Gwinnett County Police are seeking the public's assistance in two unrelated burglary investigations, one of which took place in unincorporated Norcross and the other in unincorporated Lawrenceville. The Norcross investigation involves a series of 10 burglaries that began in December 2012, according to Cpl. Jake Smith, spokesman for the GCPD. The burglaries have been all commercial, mainly on South Norcross-Tucker Road, and usually take place after dark. Each of these locations contained a massage chair which users activate by depositing money. The suspect would pry open the cash box attached to each chair in the incidents. Man Accused of Pulling Gun on Ex-Girlfriend in Front of Kids

A police report says Irving John Hall, of Norcross, threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend after she told him he could not return to her Lawrenceville home.

With a gun in hand, an ex-boyfriend threatened to kill a woman in front of her kids at their Lawrenceville Home. According to the Gwinnett County Police report, the woman, who's in her early 30s, called police in regards to her ex-boyfriend coming to her home off Brays Mill Trace and threatening her with a gun on Jan. 20. She told the officer that they had been dating for three years, but she broke up with him five months ago. Her ex, Norcross resident Irving John Hall, came into the home that afternoon after her brother let him in. The former flame approached her in the kitchen and, and after Hall became belligerent and aggressive, she escorted him out the door. Lawrenceville Man Arrested in Connection to Armed Robbery, Hit and Run

Brandon Chance Ennis was arrested on five charges for two separate incidents.

A Lawrenceville man was arrested Thursday in connection to two separate incidents of an armed robbery and a hit and run. Brandon Chance Ennis, 18, of Lawrenceville, has been charged with violation of probation, driving while license suspended or revoked, and following too closely, in addition to the robbery and hit and run charges. On Jan. 27, two cousins from Lawrenceville told Gwinnett Police how they had been robbed while at a party at Highland Walk Apartment complex in the Norcross area. While walking to the party, they were confronted by an unknown man, who was later identified as Ennis. He asked who they were and what they were doing there. Suspect Takes Peace Lanyard, Leaves Car Keys in String of Vehicle Thefts

Four car thefts were reported at a single address inside a Lawrenceville subdivision.

Multiple vehicles, all left unlocked overnight, were broken into during the early morning hours of Oct. 4 in the 700 block of Meadowsong Circle. Three separate Gwinnett County Police reports were filed in this string of car thefts and in each case, the victim reported items missing from their vehicles. A male victim reported to police that sometime between the hours of 2:15 a.m. and 6 a.m. an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle and removed several items that were left inside. Missing items included an Apple iPhone4, a black wall charger and a mesh Jansport backpack. Sliding Glass Door Smashed and Multiple Items Missing From Lawrenceville Home

A residential burglary in Lawrenceville was reported on June 19.

Gwinnett County Police responded to call in the 2000 block of Rocky Mill Drive in Lawrenceville on June 19. Upon arriving the victim reported to officers that she had arrived home from work at approximately 5:40 p.m. to find the sliding glass door on the upper floor of her home smashed out. The victim stated her husband had left the home around 11 a.m. and that although the home does have a burglar alarm, it may not have been set prior to his leaving. Multiple items were reported missing from the home including a TV, PlayStation 3, Blu Ray player, laptop and stereo.

Lawrenceville Couple Were Killed in Friday's Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-985

An elderly couple from Lawrenceville, Ga., were killed in a wreck that shut down the southbound lanes of I-985 on April 6.

Gwinnett County police released the names of the people killed Friday in a muti-vehicle accident on 1-985. Deceased are Donna Keese, 60, and her husband, John Keese, 62, of Lawrenceville, Ga. According to a press release, four vehicles were involved, including the grey Nissan Altima that was driven by Donna Keese. Stephen Scott, of Lithonia, driving a white box truck, was deemed the at-fault driver and was subsequently charged. A driver and two passengers in a blue Dodge Ram pickup were transported to the hospital with non threatening injuries. Scott and the driver of the fourth vehicle, a maroon Saturn minivan towing a small trailer with an ATV on it, received no significant injuries. Scott was arrested after being evaluated and released …

Man Critical Following Overnight Shooting at CVS in Lawrenceville

The shooting took place overnight at the CVS Pharmacy at 1187 Grayson Highway at Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville.

There was a shooting at the CVS Pharmacy at 1187 Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville overnight. Gwinnett County police report the scene was cleared by 2 a.m. Monday morning and they are actively pursuing leads in the case. A spokesman with the Gwinnett County police said the victim is a male of unknown of age. He sustained a gunshot wound to the left side of his head. He was conscious when officers arrived and is now listed in critical condition at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville. More details will follow as they become available.

Apply Early to Attend Gwinnett County Police Department Job Fair on Saturday

Job fair will include orientations and fitness assessments for pre-scheduled applicants.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is hosting a job fair on Saturday, Feb. 18. The Department is currently seeking individuals to fill the following positions: police officer trainees, senior police officers and 911 dispatchers/communication officers. The job fair will be held at the Gwinnett County Police Training Center located at 854 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville. Attendees are encouraged to complete online applications prior to attending the job fair. Online applications may be found at www.gwinnettpolicejobs.com. The job fair will include preliminary orientations and physical fitness assessments for pre-scheduled applicants only. Walk-in job seekers will be re-scheduled for these assessments at a later time.
