Who is the man who made the most significant impact on your life, who might or might not be your father, but who qualifies for a Father's Day wish today.
Sunday, June 17, 2012
There are so many people in our lives who have shaped who we are, but there are only a few people who qualify for a special place. Patch blogger Jason Brooks shared a touching story about Mr. Ron, a man who was not his biological father, yet someone he believed qualified for a special Father's Day greeting. Is there a Mr. Ron in your life? Is there someone who holds a special place in your heart, whether a biological father or not, who you believe deserves to be recognized on this Father's Day? If so, tell us about him in comments - let him know on this Father's Day just how special he is.

Make Father's Day memorable this year and not just another day.
This coming Sunday represents one of the most pathetic holidays of the year... Father's Day. Not to say that this holiday is not important, it's just one of the most indecisive, unappreciative holidays of the year. It's not that there aren't enough sales ads or discounts at the local restaurants, it's just that many fathers are overlooked or receive the most boring gifts. This year change it up and make Father's Day just as exciting as Mother's Day. Gifts play a key role in celebrating this great man. Not just any man, but a man who has seen his children born and lived to tell the story. A man who was available for those late night craving runs. A man who was willing to learn how to change a diaper. He's done a lot and much more than …
