Neighbors Concerned After String of Crimes
Residents in the Camelot subdivision of Lawrenceville, Ga. have asked for extra patrols after homes were broken into and items stolen.
A series of crimes in one Lawrenceville neighborhood has residents concerned. Lawrenceville Police received reports of at least three crimes in a span of just ten days in the Camelot subdivision. It began on June 23rd when a resident on the 200 block of King Arthur Drive called police after seeing people enter an unoccupied home across the street. The caller told the dispatcher that the home's owner had moved to Detroit and no one should be inside the house. When police arrived, they found the back door of the home open. Officers announced themselves and found Darien Meheux and Devonna Glover, both of Lawrenceville, living inside. Meheux said he did not have a place to stay and he knew the home was empty.
