New Wine and Beer Shop Opens in Downtown Lawrenceville
Block 178 is now open for business.
The specialty wine and beer store in downtown Lawrenceville, Ga. opens its doors later this week.
Block 178 co-owner Bob Johnson was spotted preparing for the specialty wine and beer store's grand opening this week. Johnson owns the shop with Henry Block. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Friday, April 5th at 4pm. The store is located at 178 E. Crogan Street in downtown Lawrenceville.

Update: 6:00pm - In an email to Lawrenceville Patch, owner Bob Johnson says he hopes to open the store on Monday, Feb. 18th. Although Niko's Wine Corner closed it's Lawrenceville location just weeks ago, a new wine and beer shop is set to take it's place already. Signs for Block 178 have gone up in Honest Alley. Construction work for the new store has begun. No word on when the store on Crogan Street will open. Their website is currently under construction as is their Facebook page.
