Archer Runs Over Berkmar
Archer Tigers defeat the Berkmar Patriots 42-0 to climb their way out of the bottom of the region standings.
The Archer Tigers scored 28 points in the first half in a 42-0 rout over the Berkmar Patriots Friday night in Lilburn. Berkmar was unable to stop the run in the first half as Archer put the game away before the half. Tigers running back Sean Fowler ran for 108 yards and three touchdowns to lead the way. The two teams came in fighting to get a win and climb out of the bottom of the Region 8-AAAAA standings. The Tigers improved to 2-3, 1-2 in Region 8-AAAAA. Berkmar fell to 1-4, and 0-3. Archer’s running back Ernest Alexander scored the first touchdown of the game with a 3-yard run.
