Police Seek Public’s Help in Search of Robbery Suspect Who Stole $20,000 Atlanta Police Investigators have released a photo of a key suspect in an armed robbery that netted $20,000. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible. According to APD officers, "on 02/13/2013 at 12:20 PM, two suspects robbed the victim at gunpoint at 1960 Perkerson Road SW." Twins Charged With Murder, Concealing Death – Barrow Patch The Winder Police Department has charged twin brothers Christopher Cormier and William Cormier with murder, according to a news release. The brothers have been in police custody since Monday, when a body was found buried in the backyard of a Sixth Street residence in Winder. The body is believed to be that of Sean Dugas, a 30-year-old Pensacola man and a former reporter for the Pensacola News Journal, who has been missing since September. Local Disney Haunted Mansion Replica for Sale – Duluth Patch Interested in living in a “haunted house” complete with scary noises, flickering lights, and “ghosts”? A replica of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in Anaheim, Calif., that was built in Duluth’s Sweet Bottom Plantation is for sale just in time for Halloween. Teacher Accused of Sexual Battery – Canton-Sixes Patch A Kell High School teacher has been charged by Cobb Police with three counts of battery and sexual battery against two students, and the retiring principal has been charged with failure to report two of the incidents. Cobb Police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said in a release issued late Thursday afternoon that James "Chad" Brigham, 37, of Canton, has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery and a single count of felony sexual battery. Man Dies After Crashing Into Building – Marietta Patch A Cartersville man died Tuesday night when his pickup truck crashed into a vacant building near a busy intersection in East Marietta. Marietta Police identified the victim as James Franklin Griffin, 68. Griffin is believed to have suffered a heart attack before crashing into the building. Police said the truck was completely inside the building when fire and rescue crews discovered the man in cardiac arrest, and that Griffin was pronounced dead at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Mayor Pleads Guilty in Child Sex Sting – Cartersville Patch A Bartow County mayor has pleaded guilty to the electronic exploitation of a child after avoiding another charge he had faced—attempted child molestation.
