Gwinnett Tech and AARP Offering Free Tax Help
The school and organization are teaming up to offer free services to community.
Gwinnett Technical College and the AARP are trying to make Tax Day a little less taxing for residents. The two are teaming up again to provide free tax preparation services to members of the community, Gwinnett Tech students and staff. Volunteers from AARP's Tax-Aide will be on campus to provide help from now until April 15th. They will be at the Busbee Center, Building 700, Room 2.106. Help will be available Mondays through Thursdays from 1pm to 4pm and Fridays from 11am to 3pm. Tax assistance will not be available the week of March 9th. The deadline to file taxes this year is April 18th due to a government holiday, Emancipation Day, being observed in Washington, D.C. on the 15th. For more information about the free income tax …
