After a domestic dispute between a man and his ex-wife, the woman told police that the dog was responsible for breaking several items in the Lawrenceville home.
A family of eight have been displaced due to the house fire, which was reported around 4:05 p.m. Thursday.
Cash, cigarettes and the owner's wallet were taken in the incident.
