Part of the Collins Hill Branch, Creekland Middle School was built to replace the old Lawrenceville Middle School. At the time of its opening in 1996, Creekland was the largest middle school in the state, as well as one of the largest in the nation. The 276,000 square foot building holds 100 classrooms, seven computer labs, two gymnasiums and a two-story media center.
