Lawrenceville's Week Ahead: August 19

1. Lawrenceville's City Council will hold their work session Wednesday at 3pm at City Hall at 70 S. Clayton Street.

2. Sign your sons up for Boy Scouts this week Tuesday at McKendree Elementary School or Wednesday at Woodward Mill Elementary School.

3. The Central Gwinnett football team will hit the field for a scrimage against W. Forsyth Friday, at 7:30pm at home.

4. If you're thinking about running for city council, the qualification period begins in one week. It is open from Monday, August 26 through Friday, August 30. City of Lawrenceville residents will vote for Post 3 and 4, currently held by Robert Clark and P.K. Martin respectively.

5. Wedensday is National Senior Citizen Day. Show your love for your elders by visiting a senior center or calling up your grandmother.
