There are an abundance of coming out this summer for the whole family to enjoy. Add these to your summer calender of things to see. 

June 8: Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wantedthese zoo animals again are on their way to an amusing adventure, but this time it’s in Europe.

June 22: Brave – a princess who goes against the norm and fights for the fate of her future.

July 3: The Amazing Spider Man – as in the comics, the amazing spider man has different adventures, and this one brings new actors and a new fight with the Lizard.

July 13: Ice Age: Continental DriftThis new adventure entails not only a drastic continental drift, but also a run in with…pirates!

August 3: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days As our summer comes to a close, this movie starts with Greg’s summer just beginning. Sure to be filled with laughter and fun!!

THEME PARKS AND INDOOR FUN

Legoland: If you haven’t taken your child to see the brand new Legoland, you definitely want to add this to your summer plans.Cost: ages 0-2 Free, ages 3-12 $16.20, 13 and up $20.52 (Prices are cheaper online)

White Water: One of the greatest water parks around! You can save $10 per ticket when purchasing tickets 3-days in advance, otherwise pay regular general admission. Cost: ages 0-2 Free, Children under 4 feet tall $26.99, General admission $37.99

Six Flags: When was the last time the whole family went to Six Flags? Well instead of spending that money on a lavish trip out of state, spend it on a full-day of theme park rides and roller coasters! Purchases made with a 3-day advance get a $20 discount off of general admission. Cost: ages 0-2 Free, Children under 4 feet tall $39.99, General admission $54.99

Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta: With plenty to do for both you and the kiddos, this is the perfect place to go on those super hot summer days! There is even a Chik-fil-A available for you to purchase some lunch. Cost: ages 0-2 Free, ages 3 and up $12.50

Georgia Aquarium: Go out and visit some amazing water creatures at the Georgia Aquarium! There is sure to be plenty to watch, touch and taste while visiting.Cost: ages 0-2 Free, ages 3-12 $28.95, adult admission $34.95

GWINNETT COUNTY SUMMER EVENTS

June 2 -Kids Fishing Day: Jones Bridge Park, 4901 East Jones Bridge Road in Norcross. no fishing license required. $5 per vehicle. 9am-1pm.

June 14 – World’s Largest Swimming class:  Center, ages 6 and up. $3 per resident. 11am-12pm.

June 16 – Movie Under the Stars: , Lawrenceville, GA  FREE! Activities and fun before the movie, Kung Fu Panda 2, starts. 5pm-10pm.

June 29 – Family Trivia Game Night:  , Lawrenceville, GA $5 per person, ages 4-up welcome to attend. 5:30pm-7:30pm Registration is required by June 26.
