The show must go on in Lawrenceville!

The city's annual Independence Day celebration, Prelude to the 4th, is planned to go on as scheduled Wednesday, July 3rd.

"However, should inclement weather become an issue, due to the logistics related to the size of the event, the LTTA (Lawrenceville Tourism and Trade Association) conveyed that it will not be rescheduled, unfortunately," said Lisa Sherman, Director of Economic Development for the City of Lawrenceville.

The event is scheduled to begin Wednesday evening at the Historic Courthouse at 185 Crogan Street at 7:30pm. The lawn will open for seating at 5:30pm. The Aurora Theatre will perform Rogers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific. Fireworks will shoot over downtown immediately following.
