Chill Out On the Ice

With highs in Lawrenceville, Ga. expected to hit the mid-90's this week, why not take the kids to a really cool place?

It's a hot one! So go some where ice cold today.

Families can visit the Ice Forum in Duluth to go ice skating all year round. In the summer, open skate is Monday through Friday 10am until noon. There's a second session on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 4pm until 5:30pm. See the website for additional times.

Admission is $8. For children under age 5, it's just $3. You can rent figure skates or ice hockey skates for $3 a pair.
