Tribble Mill Park 5K Run in the Rain

Your pace or mine? It's raining and cold and we're about to start a 5K run. Are we having fun yet? Of course!

Part A

What has two lakes for boating and fishing, trails for jogging, walking, mountain biking, horseback riding, a large playground and 700 acres of fun? If you guessed Tribble Mill Park at 2125 Tribble Mill Parkway in Lawrenceville, you’re right and you read my headline!Β

It’s cold and raining and I’m driving around the park and can’t find the location for the race and it’s already eight o’clock in the morning and I’m beginning to think that the race has been called off until I stop to ask for directions. Yes, I know, men are not supposed to stop to ask for directions, but I was getting desperate and the young lady setting out water bottles for the runners told me where to go and that’s more than my GPS could.Β

My GPS guided me right to the no access service road off of Ozora Rd SE. When your GPS takes you where mine took me, turn your car around, go back Chandler Rd SE, take a right on New Hope Rd SE, cross Grayson-New Hope Rd and take your next right onto Tribble Mill Parkway. Whew! You’re there! Enjoy the park!
