Free Tickets to See the Gwinnett Braves

Enter to win tickets to the Gwinnett Braves.

Baseball is America’s pastime. And, now Patch is giving you and your family or friends a chance to join us at the ballpark to watch the Gwinnett Braves take on the Charlotte Knights.

You could win a Family Four Pack of tickets to the game on Friday, June 1, at 7:05 p.m. at  in Lawrenceville.

Entering is easy. Just scroll down and comment on this article by Tuesday, May 8, at 6 p.m. telling us why you love baseball or going to ballgames. We’ll randomly choose a winner from the comments.

All nine of the Gwinnett Patches are participating, so visit your neighbor sites and enter on each site. Each Patch will choose a winner, but you can only win one set of tickets.

Now, play ball!

I am a life-long Braves fan. My grandfathers were fans the moment the team landed in Atlanta and passed that down to my parents. As a native of the Atlanta-area, the Braves rewarded kids with all A's with game tickets. As the team's success declined, so did the grade requirement. Luckily when I slipped to A's and B's so did the free ticket program. I loved Bob Horner and Dale Murphy and was upset when I thought the fans' cry of Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce were boos for Bruce Benedict. I was a senior in high school when the team went from worst to first and have been a solid fan from thick and thin, the pennants, the championship, and all things BRAVE. One of the greatest joys of my life was taking my own children to their first Gwinnett Braves game two years ago, and their first Atlanta Braves game last year. It is a tradition I hope to keep up year after year. Go Braves!

Close to home, fun, cheap entertainment for the family! Love the G-Braves!

It's was the first sports game I attended as a child and have been a fan since. I've taught my children to love baseball and now I am introducing the game to my grandchildren.
