I enjoy spending time with my friends cheering the Gwinnett Braves, especially on a summer afternoon, outside, when the weather's amazing!
Cathy Gibbons May 02, 2012 at 11:31 PM
I live next door to the family that lost everything on Sunday in a house fire. I would give the tickets to the kids so they can have some good old American fun. Baseball, hotdogs and apple pie.

This would be for my teenage son who is a sports lover! However, we have never been able to take him to see any games. He loves baseball and I think this would be s great father son time! I know nothing about the game so this is just for my boy! :)

We have 4 boys and 4 girls so, sometimes going to see a baseball game is an affordable way to get out and enjoy something outside of the home.. as so far two of our boys have played baseball and enjoy the sport we would love to go see the gwinnett braves.

We love Gwinnett Braves because minor leagues try harder. There's always good seating, and it's not too big and hectic to walk around the stadium while watching the game. The games are higher scoring, and the traffic isn't bad at all. And you can get Tomahawk beer, which is only sold in Braves stadiums!

Our family went to the Gwinnett braves game for the first time this week. The venue is wonderful and every seat is a good seat! Lots of fun for all ages!

I'd love to get tickets to the Gwinnett Braves! I've never been but my husband and I LOVE to watch baseball! There's nothing better or more American than going to a ball game!

One of the first dates for my husband and me was a Braves vs. Mets game at the old Atlanta Stadium (he's from Brooklyn and I'm from Atlanta) -- a 20-year marriage resulted in spite of baseball rivalries! There's something magic about the green of the field and the lights and the sounds of the game, and we LOVE minor league games because we get to be so close to the action. There's nothing better on a hot summer night than a live baseball game with the one(s) you love!

Our family is on a tight budget so we don't get to do that many outings with our son. We love baseball and winning these tickets would be a great opportunity for us to have a fun family outing and enjoy the great American Pastime together.

My first professional games in person were watching the old Atlanta Crackers and seeing future heroes like Tim MCarver and Mike Shannon at the Old Ponce De Leon park.I also loved watching them on TV a few times each year with Ed Thilenius as announcer. My late Dad was a super baseball fan and I learned to love the game from his influence.Minor league ball is so much fun as these future stars give it their all to fulfill their life's dream.

Overall, professional sports have become too corporate. G Braves are great time. Would love to take kids to game.

Two little girls- ages 3 and 6! My six year old Sophia is developing a love for baseball and her little sis is not too far behind. She loves the mascots and the "atmosphere" while older sis actually keeps up with the scoreboard. Dad just lost his job a few months back so we have not been to a game in a long, long time. Would love to take my girls to go meet Chopper!!!!

I never knew it when I was growing up, but my dad signed with the St Louis Cardinals. We never knew that the baseball we played with was actually the game ball he got for a grand slam in Padukah. Moma said he played in the Kitty League. That's the AAA version of the 1950's. Actually it was called the GA-FL league. I always played softball and when my 3 kids came along, I had to give up my playing so I could coach them. Now, I help coach my 4 yr old grandson and his team. I'm the 3rd base coach as well as the Team Granny. LOL, the kids love it when a 53 year old fat woman gets out there and runs the bases. I sure would like to take my grandkids to see a Gwinnett Braves game. Three generations of Robinson baseball fans would be attending. But I'm sure PawPaw Ben would be watching from heaven too, making it 4 generations.

It's great to have Coolray Field right here in Gwinnett county so that a family can enjoy a great day at the park watching our own Braves! Sometimes I watch on tv, but would love to take the kids out for a game! Cassie Bullabaugh

Hey, take me out to the ball game!
JoAnn Fuller May 08, 2012 at 01:25 PM
Learned to keep score for my high school team. They won state that year. I've been in love ever since.

We have so many wonderful memories of attending Braves games with our children. As adults, they still love to go to baseball games! Having the Gwinnett Braves so close has allowed the next generation to continue the tradition. Our 3 year old granddaughter loves baseball and always points out Coolray Field whenever they drive by!

My 7 yr old son and soon to be 3 yr old son are die hard baseball fans. They both started playing at 2 as soon as they could pick a bat up and they are naturals. My 7 yr old has growth hormone deficiency and looks like he is about 4, but he has the heart of a lion. When he steps on the field to play people are pretty amazed. Because of his size they don't expect so much in a small package. He never gives up and is so caring. His little brother wants to be just like him. Baseball is in their hearts and in their blood. My daughter just fell in love with softball after years of soccer. We all love the Gwinnett Braves games, they are full of family fun things and the kids love being so close to a "real game" I know they dream of playing on the "big" field one day with all of their heros they get to watch right now

What is better than the smell of peanuts and crack of a bat on a warm day? Spending it with my husband of 26 years for his birthday! With the great location and affordability of Coolray Field, we don't have to wait for a special occasion to watch the Gwinnett Braves.
Denny Wood May 08, 2012 at 06:32 PM
Baseball is a time-honored tradition where every live pitch, smack of a glove or crack of a bat floods my senses with memories of moments shared alongside loved ones separated now by distance or astral plane. An evening flight over the Heartland, revealing the diamond glow of rural ballfields offers the most assuring comfort that, as Americans, we're still on the right track.

Being able to go and enjoy this historic past time has always been a joy for my family and I. My Dad always took me to a game whenever he could no matter what team was playing it meant a lot to me. And since I dont see much of my dad I make it a point to go with my friends and family when I have the money to. But I love enjoying the game and taking in the atmosphere.
Bill May 08, 2012 at 07:31 PM
Baseball is the best in Gwinnett.
Pat Davidson May 08, 2012 at 09:25 PM

I'd love to be able to take our 4-y.o. grandson to his first baseball game, and winning these tickets would allow us to do that!
