Football season is almost here! The Atlanta Falcons are now in training camp in Flowery Branch. Here's what you need to know about the team and the 2013 season: 

  • PRESEASON OPENER: Thursday, Aug. 8, at Georgia Dome vs. Cincinnati (8 p.m.)
  • SEASON OPENER: Sunday, Sept. 1, at New Orleans.
  • NEW FACES: RB Steven Jackson, DE Osi Umenyinora.
  • KEY DEPARTURES: RB Michael Turner, DE John Abraham.
  • 2: Number of division titles the Falcons have won since Mike Smith took over as head coach in 2008.
