Gwinnett Braves End Losing Streak

Jurrjens pitches Monday. Another homestand nears.

The Gwinnett Braves ended a four-game losing streak Sunday, and the team still is in first place in the International League South as another homestand nears.

Former Atlanta pitcher Jair Jurrjens will continue his comeback attempt when he pitches for Gwinnett on Monday at Rochester.

On Sunday, the G-Braves took a 2-1 victory. Stefan Gartrell hit his 10th homer, and pitchers Todd Redmond and Cory Gearrin combined to hold off Rochester for a 2-1 victory.
