Former Atlanta Braves Stars to Make Appearance at Coolray Field

Former Atlanta Braves stars Sid Bream and Mark Wohlers will make an appearance at Coolray Field before the Gwinnett Braves game on Sunday (July 21).

The appearance will include a two-hour autograph session for the public, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., according to a news release. Before the game, Bream will meet with Home Plate Club patrons, and Wohlers will meet with preselected ticket-holders, from 4-4:30 p.m.

Bream is best remembered as the man who made "The Slide," scoring the winning run on Francisco Cabrera's hit to win Game 7 of the 1992 NL Championship Series.

Wohlers is best remembered as the relief pitcher who saved Game 6 of the 1995 World Series, giving Atlanta its first world title.

The G-Braves will take on Indianapolis on July 21 at 5:05 p.m. Bream and Wohlers also will throw out first pitches.
