Five Gwinnett Braves Picked for All-Star Roster

Triple-A Baseball's International League announced its roster and staff for 2011 All-Star Game, and five of them are . The roster consists of 30 players and the G-Braves tied for the league high of representatives. They are RHP , DH , 1B , OF and Trainer Mike Graus.

The squad was chosen in two ways. First, 13 players were voted in by managers, members of the media and online fans votes. The remaining 17 players were selected by the International League's office.

Teheran is the only Gwinnett Brave ever to be invited to play in both the Futures Game and the All-Star Game in the same season. He will also be the youngest IL All-Star this year. Teheran along with fellow first-time All-Star Gartrell were voted on to the team. Gomez, Constanza and Graus were selected by the IL office. 

The All-Star Game will determine who has home-field advantage during the Triple-A National Championship. The IL All-Stars will take on the Pacific Coast League All-Stars in Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 13th at 9 pm EST.
