Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Tamassee Children's Home. Sponsored by Task Force Patriot a 15-year old, veteran outreach to veterans and veteran families in need. In 2010 the proceeds from this tournament funded five, 5-year children into the home, who were homeless. Everyone who participates in the tournament is a winner...for the children!
Format is a 4-player, Lauderdale Scramble, Best Ball, Men and Ladies are invited...Seniors may hit from the Senior Tees. Entry per player is $40., including a professionally catered player's lunch, player gift bags, short game clinic, range balls, drawings and prizes. Trophies awarded to the first three winning teams. The Grand Prize drawing is for a pair of Evander Holyfield autographed boxing gloves and memorabilia. Registration begins at 8:00 AM, short game clinic at 8:20 and shotgun start at 9:00 AM. Enter at the Cedar Lake Golf Clubhouse. Entries limited to 120 players. Enjoy a great round of golf...have some fun...help a child!
