Boston Athletes Throw Out First Pitches on Boston Strong Night

Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan, former Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek, Celtics star Dee Brown and Patriots player Rodney Harrison threw out the ceremonial first pitches before the Gwinnett Braves' Boston Strong Night.

Sports stars with connections to Massachusetts Β came out to pay honor to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan honed his skills while playing for Boston College. Rodney Harrison won a Super Bowl Championship while playing safety for the New England Patriots. Dee Brown played guard for the Celtics. Jason Varitek was a catcher for the Red Sox and won two World Series while playing at Fenway Park.

The four were introduced by WSB-TV's Kerry Kavanaugh-- a native of Boston.
