Community Update

We went to shogun Japanese Restaurant on Friday night at 5:45. They have an early bird special if you get there before 6:00 and I think that ended up being our problem. We asked if we would still get the early bird special and they said on yes. But then we ended up being the only 3 people at the table even though others came in after us, they were seated at a different grill. Then this so called chef came out. He was dressed in the usual uniform but could not do anything. He dropped all of his utensils all 3 times that he tried to do tricks, he tried to build a volcano with onions and it went up in a blaze and he just ended up chopping it up. At one point he was trying to cook at our grill and was actually watching another chef and laughing at the great job the other chef was doing instead of trying to do a better job himself. He didn't put any garlic butter in the vegtables or rice, we had to ask him to add it. The egg he cracked ended up in the trash tray by him and he scraped it up onto the grill with a spatula. The fried rice smelled bad and I had to put yum yum sauce on it to be able to eat it at all, but even then it was awful. The Chicken was dry, the filet was raw. He only cooked it on one side. When we complained the lady that had brought our soup and salad out went to go get the manager and a lady appeared to speak with us. While she was speaking a man came over to the table and looked at our plates and then walked away. The lady we were speaking with said that the man was her manager and he felt we had eaten most of our food (even though we had barely touched it) so he wasn't going to give us a discount for that time, but would give us a $10 off coupon for the next time we come, as if we would ever eat there again.
