Viewfinder: Bio-Bus Visits Five Forks Library Branch

Local kids got a chance to participate in hands-on science activities and demonstrations in Georgia State University's Bio-Bus.

The Bio-Bus is a 30 foot, self-contained mobile instructional labratory run by scientsists, students and teachers at Georgia State University. On Tuesday, April 5, local kids got a chance to hop on board the Bio-Bus to learn a variety of lessons in scientific concepts when the bus parked in the lot of the Five Forks branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library

Kids in groups of fifteen enjoyed 45 minute demonstrations by students from Georgia State.

The Bio-Bus services are free of charge, and the bus is available for visits to schools and community groups in Georgia. For more information on the Bio-Bus, contact the program manager, Genevieve Edwards, at biobus@gsu.edu.
