Preschoolers Take a Trip Around the World
Students at the Primrose School of Five Forks celebrated different cultures and got a visit from the mayor of Lilburn.
It really was a small world after all at the this past Friday, September 30th.
The 130 children at the preschool dressed up carried Greek shields, and made a Red Dragon and Chinese lanterns. They then took part in a cultural parade, ate ethnic foods and joined hands to sing "It's a Small World After All," "This Land is Your Land" and more.
City of Lilburn Mayor Diana Preston joined the young students and proclaimed that in her city "all citizens are urged to celebrate this day and appreciate the many cultural traditions and their contributions that make up our wonderful community, county, state and nation.”
