The Georgia Municipal Association is encouraging Georgia 6th graders to write about what they would do if mayor.

The essay contest asks participants what they would do to make their city the best place in which to live. Prizes include $250 and recognition at an awards dinner.

Deadline is March 7. Check out the PDF accompanying this article and the contest's Facebook page for contest rules and more information.
