Gwinnett Tech Hands Out 600+ Diplomas

Commissioner Ron Jackson of the Technical College System of Georgia addressed the new grads.

 

Over 600 graduates received their diplomas from Monday evening at the Gwinnett Arena. However, the school projects the will confer more than 3,200 awards to 1,200 individual graduates once all the grades and graduation applications are finalized. For the last nine years, Gwinnett Tech has awarded the most associate degrees in the state of Georgia.

Technical College System of Georgia Commissioner Ron Jackson addressed the Class of 2012. "Always show gratitude, return generosity and offer thanks. Never forget those who help you along the way," Jackson advised the graduates. He also asked them to continue to be curious. “Life-long learning is critical to life success. Don’t stop here,” he said in closing.
