GGC Gets OK for Nursing Program

Georgia Gwinnett College plans to welcome its first baccalaureate nursing class in the fall of 2014.

On Thursday, Georgia Gwinnett College announced they received the green light for it's baccalaureate program in nursing from the Georgia Board of Nursing.

“This vote enables us to move forward in developing GGC’s nursing program and recruiting students,” said Diane White, dean of the School of Health Sciences in a release. “There is an increased need for baccalaureate-prepared nurses and GGC is poised to meet this need."

The Lawrenceville college plans to welcome its first nursing students to campus in the fall of 2014.
