Twitter for Job Seekers and Consumers

• Yes, real jobs are posted on Twitter, and they're easy to find! And all big (& many small) companies have a Twitter presence, and monitor what consumers say!

Starting with basic Twitter usage terms, we'll move to stories of job seekers and consumers being helped by Twitter, and ways you can use Twitter. Seven basic steps will get you started and reaping benefits quickly.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to build up their LinkedIn connections as much as possible before the meeting. (Not required, but helpful.)

Any participant bringing a laptop can work on their own Twitter account along with the presentation. (Also not required, but helpful.)

Questions are encouraged at the event, and even months later.
