Dartt is currently an Assistant Principal at Cooper Elementary School in Loganville.
Gwinnett County Board of Education appointed Phyllis Dartt as Principal of in Lawrenceville.
Dartt will take over for current Principal Dr. Susan Bearse who is being transferred to Berkeley Lake Elementary School. The principal there is retiring.

Right now, Dartt is an Assistant Principal at Cooper Elementary School in Loganville. She also served as an Assistant Principal at Partee Elementary from 2004 to 2007 and at from 1998 to 2004. Dartt also taught mathematics, science and social studies at Sweetwater.
Dratt holds a Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University and a Master's from the University of Georgia.
