UPDATE: Weekend Construction Delays on 316
Crews will be working on the highway from I-85 to Sugarloaf Parkway.
Updated 5:00pm - We received the following correction from Gwinnett County: "Construction on SR 316 will not add an HOV lane but a third lane for all traffic on SR 316 East from I-85 to Sugarloaf Parkway."
If you're traveling on Highway 316 this weekend, be sure to pack a little extra patience.
One lane of 316 East between I-85 and Sugarloaf Parkway will be shut down starting at 9pm Friday and will re-open Monday at 5am. One lane will also be shut down on the Westbound side Saturday from 8am to 4pm.
