Rhodes Jordan Park Trail Re-Opened

The trail at the Lawrenceville, Ga. park had been closed after damaged by a severe summer storm.

Two months after a strong storm toppled trees in , a trail and boardwalk is once again open to the public. 

The storm on July 5th caused serious damage to the trail. A tree came crashing down and sliced through part of the boardwalk. After assessing the damage, the area was closed to the public because it was deemed unsafe.

Repairs have now been completed and park patrons have access to all areas of the trail once again.

This same . A tree fell through an abandoned house and another on top of a pest control company's truck. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
