Two restaurants scored U's and three are at risk of having their permits suspended.

The following are restaurant health inspection scores as reported by Gwinnett County:

Violations: 2-1B, Violation of Code: [.03(5)(c) ] Observed employee handle dirty dishes and proceed to unload and touch clean dishes from the diswasher. Advised PIC that hands shall be washed after handling dirty dishes and before handling clean dishes. Hands were washed. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 6-1A, Violation of Code: [.04(6)(f) ] Cold-held potentially hazardous foods not maintained below 41oF; no time controls/documentation in place - spagetti, cheese and tomatoes in prep cooler to right of grill at temperatures exceeding 41F (see temp observations). Advised PIC that foods shall be held at 41F. PIC stated that the cooler is turned off at night and turned back on at 7:00am. Advised PIC to ensure cooler is maintaining 41F before putting foods inside the cooler. Ambient temperature at 47F at beginnning of inspection and had dropped to 42F by the end of the inspection with a repairman checking cooler out. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 6-1C, Violation of Code: [.04(6)(d) ] Cooked potentially hazardous foods not cooled from 135oF to 41oF within a total of 6 hours - hash browns cooked the night before (> 6hrs) at 61F. PIC stated that the hash browns had been cooked the night before and placed in the walk-in cooler to cool. Hash browns discarded. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Advised PIC to clean ice machine and nozzles more frequently to avoid buildup. Repeat Violation. 5-2, Violation of Code: [.04(7)(e) ] Steaks not asterisked to refer to the consumer advisory and disclosure stating "may be cooked to order" missing from menus. Advised PIC to asterisk steaks and to add disclosure to consumer advisory. New Violation. New Violation. 4-1A, Violation of Code: [.04(4)(c)1(i)-(iii),(v),(viii) ] Employee cut raw chicken on cutting board, then used a cloth towel not in sanitizer to wipe down surface, then bread was placed on the same surface for preparation.
