Those wishing to run for either City Council or Mayor of Lawrenceville may file a notice of candidacy beginning Monday, August 27th. The qualifying period closes Friday, August 31st at 4:30pm.
The qualifying fee for Mayor is $288 and City Council is $216. Qualifying notices must be filed in the Administrative Office of the City of Lawrenceville at , 70 South Clayton Street, between 8:30am and 4:30pm this week.
The Council positions are for Posts 1 and 2, currently held by Marie Beiser and Tony Powell.
Elections will be held Tuesday, November 6th.
