Qualifying Period for City Council, Mayor Begins Today
Notices of candidates wishing to run for Lawrenceville office can file starting Monday.
Those wishing to run for either City Council or Mayor of Lawrenceville may file a notice of candidacy beginning Monday, August 27th. The qualifying period closes Friday, August 31st at 4:30pm.
The qualifying fee for Mayor is $288 and City Council is $216. Qualifying notices must be filed in the Administrative Office of the City of Lawrenceville at , 70 South Clayton Street, between 8:30am and 4:30pm this week.
The Council positions are for Posts 1 and 2, currently held by Marie Beiser and Tony Powell.
