Hamilton Announces Bid to Run for GA House

Renita Hamilton will run for the recently redrawn District 105.

Lawrenceville business-owner Renita Hamilton announced Wednesday she will run for a seat in the Georgia State House of Representatives. Hamilton will seek a seat in the newly re-drawn 105th District.

Hamilton previously . She lost that bid for Post 4 which resulted in a runoff between incumbent Peter PK Martin and former Lawrenceville Mayor Rex Millsaps. Martin eventually retained the seat.

 “As a mother, business owner, and community advocate I am actively engaged in the overall progression of communities, including our neighborhoods, public and school safety, economic development and excellence in quality of life for all, I humbly ask for your support” said Hamilton in a release. “As we partner together to ensure the legacy this great county has come to be known for across the country.”
