Politics & Government

House District 105 Town Hall hosted by Renita Hamilton

Town Hall Meetings are community based meetings which are meant to be twofold in nature.  They are to provide the opportunity for the community to have their voices heard, to state their opinions and to hear the opinion and thoughts of Renita Hamilton.

These meetings:

1) Generally have specific topics that are relevant to the community e.g., education, economy, climate change, local issues, health care, schools, taxes, public transportation, roads, traffic etc.

2) Also this will allow the community to get to know Renita Hamilton not only during election time, but throughout the year and even when there is no election.

3) They are in place to allow the community to provide feedback on issues and concerns of the community and to understand what role their government plays for their benefit.  Issues can span from crime to sidewalks, to lighting, to graffiti, to community outreach.

4)  Townhalls will be set up once every month in various locations within District 105 by Renita Hamilton.  The location and times for these meetings is published www.voterenitahamilton.org and her calendar of events
