City of Lawrenceville Recycling & "CAN" Do Collection Event

CITY OF LAWRENCEVILLE RECYCLING DAY   Saturday, May 5                       9:00 am to 1:00 pm   Clean out your old electronic devices, documents, and Latex paint! Note other items that the City will accept listed below.  The City of Lawrenceville will be sponsoring a recycle day on Saturday, May 5 from 9:00 to 1:00 at 20 S. Clayton Street (old police station parking lot).   Enter from Clayton Street and signs will direct you to recycle stations and exits.   What can you recycle?   • Documents you wish to be shredded, limit of five boxes.  You will be able to watch them shredded on the site.  Volunteers will help you unload if necessary. • Electronic devices (cell phones, computers, keyboards, etc.) are free. A charge of $10 for TVs.   Projection TVs and Console TVs are not accepted.   • There is a charge for paint.  1 gallon can $2.00   • There is a charge for tires. $5.00 per tire.                     • The city will accept metal, and old appliances.       The Re-cycle day is open to residents and non-residents.   On Re-cycle Day we will be accepting food pantry donations for our “CAN” DO Campaign sponsored by all cities of Gwinnett.  This food is distributed to the food Co-Ops of Gwinnett.
