Early Voting Begins in Lawrenceville

Two City Council seats and Sunday Alcohol Sales appear on the ballot.

Starting at 8am Monday, residents of the City of Lawrenceville will be able to cast their votes in the 2011 election.

Voters will choose a new City Council member for Post 3 as . The three candidates vying for Smith's seat are , and . is looking to retain his position as Post 4 City Councilman, however and are both hoping to unseat him.

Also on the ballot is a special election to determine if the City of Lawrenceville will allow the . This would allow retailers in the city to sell wine and malt beverages on Sundays from 12:30pm until 11:30pm.

Residents may cast their vote at the Administrative Office of the City of Lawrenceville starting Monday, October 17th until Friday, November 4th. Voting will take place at the Administrative Office of the City of Lawrenceville at City Hall. They will be open from 8am until 5pm weekdays during this early voting period.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th.
