A deal was reportedly reached Sunday night, now a vote must be taken.
Sunday night, President Barack Obama held a brief press conference announcing a deal had been reached in congress to bring an end to the debt crisis and prevent the United States from defaulting for the first time in history. It was a compromise deal and involved more than $2 trillion in long-term cuts.
